GroupCamp has released a brand new Max+ plan for GroupCamp Project, its saas-based project management tool. With this new plan, companies can manage up to 500 projects in parallel.

“We have an established client base for whom GroupCamp Project has become a critical application to manage internal development projects and also client projects. We needed to offer the ability to manage more than 200 projects. The Max+ plan has required a great deal of optimization work to provide sustained performance in projects where potentially hundreds of employees are recording time or updating tasks and project managers are generating reports across hundreds of projects. We are happy to say that many of our larger clients are already using the Max+ plan with the same level of performance.”   said Dickel SOORIAH, GroupCamp’s co-founder.

A saas-based project management for the large organizations

This  announcement comes after GroupCamp’s prior release of wire transfer support for the payment of GroupCamp’s subscription based offers. GroupCamp also introduced a budgeted time feature in GroupCamp project allowing large organizations to define budget lines for a project and monitor those budget lines. The cloud-based collaboration platform now allows project managers and program managers to define budgets per activity and have their teams record time on those budget lines. This particular feature has, according to GroupCamp been widely adopted in larger organizations to monitor budget lines in internal development projects for either marketing or IT departments.

Adapting user experience to high volumes

GroupCamp Project’s new plan also includes new tools and design principles allowing account administrators to handle larger lists of users, projects, tasks, etc... The new user experience brings an adaptive and intuitive interface to account administrators allowing them to handle small or large lists of users, projects and categories.

Dickel Sooriah added : "When handling 500 projects, our clients needed more ways of categorizing each project so as to be able to select large groups of projects based on their type for instance whether they are internal development projects or client projects. We are also introducing teams and organizations to allow administrators to handle large volumes of users in various applications."
